Marie Pearl Jones

February 8, 1935 — February 6, 2022

Marie Pearl Jones, age 86, died February 6, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County Hospital after a lengthy illness. Born in Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John and Fannie Croucher. Marie made her home in Beech Bluff for many years. She enjoyed watching television, shopping at Goodwill, and loved to cook. Marie adored her family.

She is survived by three sons, Billy Gregory of Beech Bluff, TN, Michael Jones of Beech Bluff, TN, and John (Leisa) Gregory of Henderson, TN; five brothers, JR Croucher, Richard Croucher, Raymond Croucher, Boyd Croucher, and O’Reah Croucher; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great- grandchildren.

Other than her parents, Marie was preceded in death by one son, Charles Anderson; one brother, John Croucher; and three sisters, Birdie Jane Croucher Gadd, Lurean Croucher Cain, and Delphi Peters.

SERVICE: The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a funeral service following at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Ron Hale officiating. Burial will follow in Nebo Cemetery.
