Debi Longmire, age 73, of Medina, Tennessee, received her heavenly reward on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving husband and family. She was born on October 26, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Hollis and Auvern Duncan Ball.
Debi will be remembered as a woman with a warm and beautiful heart who would help anyone in need. Her family was her great passion, and she found deep joy in being with her husband, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as in every activity that involved those she loved. The care she gave so freely and the love she shared so generously will remain a lasting gift to all who knew her. Debi's working career was centered around Stanley Black & Decker in the payroll and human resources departments with thirty-six years of employment.
She is survived by her husband, James Walter Longmire; her son, Je’an-Paul Brewer; and her daughters, Tabetha Patterson and her husband, TeJas, and Autumn Renfroe and her husband, Jason. She also leaves her brother, Tommy Ball. Debi’s memory will be cherished by her grandchildren, Stormie, Jada, Hunter, Keelan, Kamron-Paul, Chloe, Kennedy and Mylee, and by her great-grandchildren, Sophia, Novalie, Harper, Violet, Vivianne, and Tripp, who is on the way. Also, a god-granddaughter, Avigail (Tootie) Shepherd. She is also survived by Michael and Holly Longmire. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Hollis and Auvern Ball; her sister, Lisa Burchfield; her brother, Gene Ball and his wife, Betty and brother and sister-in-law Sidney and Judy Longmire.
SERVICE: A time with family and friends will be held in Debi's honor on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors and again on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Debi has requested that a private family only service to be held prior to her interment in Rose Hill Cemetery in Humboldt TN.

Debi Longmire’s life was marked by kindness, devotion, and a heart turned toward others. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives were blessed by her presence.
