Loretta "Lori" M. Kiper

In loving memory of Lori Kiper, who passed away peacefully at her home in the care of hospice on March 12, 2024.  She was born in Jackson, Michigan an April 21, 1952, to the late John and Margaret Zantop Widmayer.  She was a wonderful mother, cherished friend, and a passionate gardener who found joy in traveling and spending time with loved ones. 

Lori was a source of strength and wisdom for her family and friends.  Always ready with a listening ear and a warm embrace.  

Aside from her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Kiper; siblings, Margaret, John, Phil, and Patricia; brother-in-law, Tomi; nephew, Michael. 

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Ginger White (Joseph); grandchildren, Justin White and Kyle White (Katerina); sibling, Steve; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Pat, Huey, Barb, and Leroy; and many other friends.  

Lori leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and kindness that will be forever cherished by her daughter, grandchildren, and extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing Lori. 

Per her wishes, cremation has taken place.  A graveside memorial service will take place in Jackson, Michigan at a later date.
