November 2, 2022, Violet Lucille Tucker Hindman passed away at the age of 97. She was born in Giles County, Tennessee to the late Ozro Keifer Tucker and Mary Lucille Johnson Tucker on December 23, 1924. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Cheryl Engles Coleman, her brothers, Ozro Tucker, Jr., Gene Tucker, and her two husbands, Edward S. Engles and Doug Hindman. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Bassham Smithson (Ken); her son, Edward Samuel Engles; her granddaughters, Ginger W. White (Mike), Bonnie S. Mendez (Mike), Vickie S. Dudley (David), Rachel Coleman, Hannah Ruth Coleman; grandson, Keifer Engles; great- granddaughter, Tabitha Stokes, Julie Mendez Smith; great grandsons, Koby Tucker Dudley (Kaitlen), Troy Stallsworth, Ethan Dudley (Kasey), great-great granddaughter, Caroline Dudley and treasured friend, Everett Fairley SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 7, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Kenneth Smithson officiating.
