Vadis Ann Murdaugh Anthony, 75 died on Wednesday, February 20, 2013 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born on July 22, 1937 in Jackson, TN the daughter of the late Jesse and Exie Lee Newman Murdaugh. She was a member of First Baptist Church and retired from the Madison County Court Clerks office. She is survived by her children, Jeff Anthony, Sally Anthony and Jimmy Anthony; her brother, Ralph Murdaugh and sister, Betty Anderson all of Jackson, TN and seven grandchildren, Ashley, Jason, Megan, Billy, Teresa, Tristan and David and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 23, 2013 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Randy Pierson officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens.
