Sue Crockett, age 80, died peacefully at her Humboldt, TN residence on Wednesday, December 14, 2022.
A native of Crockett County, TN, she was born on November 13, 1942, the daughter of the late Owen and Janette Edwards Williams. She was married to the late Braxton Brooks Crockett, Jr., who preceded her in death.
Sue was a graduate of Bells High School and received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Tennessee at Martin. For many years she was employed with the Madison County School System as an educator. She was a member of the Mt. Zion Church in Medina, TN.
She is survived by her son, Brooks Crockett and wife Susanne of Humboldt, TN; three grandchildren, Zoe Crockett, Savannah Crockett and Jessica Riley and a great-grandchild, Oliver Riley.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Crockett Hanlein, two grandchildren, Andrew Duck and Cameron Duck and two brothers, Johnny Williams, and Clint Williams.
SERVICE: A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Kevin Autry officiating.
