Sophie Annaliese Crawley

June 7, 2023 — June 7, 2023

Sophie Annaliese Crawley, the beloved daughter of Daniel and Grace Crawley was born into the Arms of Jesus at 9:53 p.m. on the evening of Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.

This beautiful, dark-haired girl weighed 7 lbs. and was 20 inches long. Her name was chosen after much thought by her parents, “Sophie” meaning wisdom of God, and “Annaliese” meaning blessed by God. Although Sophie’s time on earth was short, she was very much loved and touched many lives. Sophie’s family takes comfort in knowing that she is now resting safely in the Arms of Jesus and that they will see her one day in heaven.

Daniel works for the family business, Crawley Landscaping & More and Grace is a stay-at-home mother.

Sophie will be forever loved and always remembered by her parents and her 2-year-old big brother, Keith; maternal grandparents, Kerry and Terry Arnswald of Davison, Michigan; paternal grandparents, Bobby and Angie Crawley of Jackson, Tennessee; two great-grandmothers, Rosalie Crawley, and Phyllis Wolfe; uncles, Stephen and aunt Marie (Arnswald) Forester, Lee & aunt Brittany Crawley; Michael and aunt Kayla Crawley; aunt, Jessica Crawley; cousins, Stephen and Michael Forester, Trevor and Aaron Crawley, and Sawyer, Rebecca, and Hallie Beth Crawley, as well as many other loving family members and close friends who will miss her dearly.

Daniel and Grace would like to express their deepest gratitude to the Butterfly’s Embrace Bereavement team at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital who walked beside them during the first hard days and their healthcare team who provided them unwavering support and care. They are also thankful for the great outpouring of love, prayers, and support from family and friends during this difficult time.
