Obituary

Shirley, who loved being called "Nana" by her grandchildren, passed peacefully on Aug 4th, 2021. Shirley was born in Jackson, TN on March 28th, 1948, to Sidney and Mary Elizabeth Brock. Shirley was a loving and devoted mother to Emily Dianne Harris and grandmother to Brock Anthony and Madden Elizabeth Harris. It is hard to express the love and joy she had for her two grandchildren as well as the rest of her family. This love and affection for family did not stop at her immediate family but extended to her brother, Larry Brock, his wife, Dee Brock, their children, and grandchildren. Shirley spent most of her career as a mortgage banker. Shirley had a calling to work hard in order to help people get into the home of their dreams. She really loved seeing the impact that her role played in peoples lives. One thing that carried through in her life was that she wanted to help people, regardless of situation. Shirleys passion for God, her savior Jesus Christ and the word of God grew in her. She loved spending time studying, ready and memorizing the Word of the Bible. Shirley is survived by her daughter, Emily, Emilys husband Michael, grandchildren, Brock, and Madden, along with her brother Larry and his entire family.
