Shelley Lynn LaFrance passed away on November 18, 2023, in Jackson, TN.

Born on August 26, 1955, in Ventura, CA, Shelley's life was filled with love, joy, and compassion for others. Throughout her time with us, she touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Shelley was a woman of many passions and interests. She had a deep love for hummingbirds, marveling at their delicate beauty and grace. Her eyes light up whenever a humming appeared in her garden. Shelley also possessed the impressive skill of crochet. With nimble fingers and a creative mind, she crafted intricate blankets and scarves that were treasured by lucky enough to receive them.

However, it was Shelley's role as a grandmother that truly defined her life. Her grandchildren were the absolute joy of her existence. She showered them with endless love and affection, creating countless special memories that will forever be cherished by all who knew them.

Shelley had an undeniable spark for life and sought out happiness wherever she went. One could never mention Disney without seeing her eyes light up with childlike excitement. She adored the magic and enchantment that Disney brought into the world and always found solace in its uplifting stories. Additionally, Shelley was an ardent fan of Elvis Presley – his music served as the soundtrack to many joyous moments in her life. The timeless melodies that flowed from his voice truly spoke to her soul.

Traveling allowed Shelley to indulge in her adventurous spirit. She longed to explore new landscapes and immerse herself in different cultures. However, her true happiness was found in the company of her dear sister. They shared a bond that transcended time and distance, always finding solace in each other's presence.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Josh LaFrance (Alicia), Katie LaFrance (Frank), and Hayley LaFrance; brother, Blair Williams; sister, Kay Chapman; grandchildren, Emma LaFrance, Rixon List, and Jake LaFrance.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Williams; daughter, Belinda LaFrance; brother, John Williams; and sister, Sandy Smith.

In honoring Shelley's memory, let us remember to cherish our loved ones, embrace the wonders of life, and spread kindness wherever we go. She may no longer be with us in physical form, but her spirit will forever dance among us. As we bid farewell to our dear Shelley Lynn LaFrance, let us capture the magic she brought into our lives and carry it forward as a testament to her remarkable soul.
