Sharon Pauline Tucker, returned to her heavenly home on November 25th, 2017 inJackson, Tennesseeat the age of 59. She was known by many children of her heart as "Momma Sharon." She was a mentor at Hope Recovery Center and an ordained Elder for Faith Church in Lexington. Many lives were blessed by her teaching and unconditional love. She also held titles as a teacher and an amazing prayer warrior in the church. Known as "Mrs. T," she worked as an educator in the Jackson-Madison County School district for 20 years. She worked with special needs children and was involved in the work study program for the school. Sharon made a difference by being a positive force in the lives of her students, helping them find work and also teaching practical life lessons through love and compassion. Early in life, she served as an alderwoman for the city of Medon. She also worked as a reception and medical professional for the Jackson Clinic. Sharon was preceded by her husband of 43 years, Stephen "Steve" Paul Tucker, on October 23rd, 2017. She is survived byher Son Steven Brock Tucker and his wife, Samantha, daughters Anita Michelle Tucker and her partner, Jason, and Paula Elaine Phipps and her husband, Eli; Three Grandchildren, Kitana Paige Tucker, Brianna Danielle Tucker, and Sabrina Marie Tucker; Daughter of her heart, April Sparks Burke. Sharon was born onFebruary 15, 1958 in Jackson, TN toJoyce Marie Smith and Walker Bailey Brock, Sr. She is survived by her Stepmother Juanita Pearl Tucker Brock and her siblings Patti Gail Zapf, Walker Bailey Brock, Jr., Sabrina Gay Wells, Linda Charlene Willis and Angela Elizabeth Hale; preceded by her sister Susan Diane Durham Extend Siblings, Wanda Lynn Strain, James Doug Tucker, and David Lawson Tucker; 12 nephews, 11 nieces; Aunts and Uncles, Sarah and Glenn Martin.
