Rodney Clark McKenzie, 64, of Jackson, TN died Thursday February 5, 2015. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Beatrice Clark McKenzie; two brothers, David McKenzie and Philip McKenzie; and a dear friend, Miki York. Rod is survived by his sister Barbara McKenzie Rupp (husband David) of Louisville, KY; three nephews, Britton Rupp (wife Katie), Alex McKenzie, Grant McKenzie; two nieces, Holly Griffin and Lindsey Rupp. Rod was born Jackson and lived here until his family moved to Louisville, KY. He graduated from Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, VA and attended The University of Kentucky. He was inducted into the U.S. Army in 1971. He was the owner-operator of McKenzie Stave Company in Henderson County, TN. He was also a subcontractor for General Motors for several locations.
