Robert E. Tippett peacefully entered his heavenly resting place on Friday, June 19, 2026, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee. Born on September 27, 1944, in Haywood County, Robert lived a full and cherished life marked by dedication to family, a passion for his interests, and steadfast kindness.

Robert is lovingly remembered by his devoted wife, Sandy Tippett, whose partnership and companionship were central throughout his life's journey. He was the proud father of Randy Tippett (Jennifer), Jeff Tippett (Jeannette), Ashley Sipes, and Amy Vickery (Joseph), each of whom carries forward his legacy of warmth and steadfastness. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Patrick (Helen), Jonathan, Alex, Will (Hannah), Aiden and Abigail.

Family was at the heart of Robert’s life. He leaves behind a close-knit circle of surviving relatives, who will forever hold dear the memories they created together. In quiet remembrance are his siblings, Frank, Ralph, Nancy, and Joe, who preceded him in death. Their shared bond and collective stories have left an enduring imprint on the Tippett family.

A man of simple pleasures, Robert was known for his unwavering love of old country music and Tennessee Baseball and Softball. The thrill of the game brought him immense joy, and he cherished many hours following his favorite teams. He meticulously kept a vegetable garden for many years. He was a master mechanical problem solver that the family often turned to for help.

SERVICE: Honoring Robert’s life, a graveside service will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Beech Bluff Cemetery, where family, friends, and all who knew him are invited to gather, reflect, and celebrate a life so dearly lived.
