Rob died Friday, October 23, 2015 at his home. He was 52 years old and was born and raised in Jackson, TN. He fought vigorously the last five years of his life against cancer. He graduated from Northside High School and attended a technical school. Rob was a unique person and had many many friends that will miss him. As long as he was able he loved outdoor activities and his favorite was fishing. He was adapt at cooking mainly on the grill. He worked as a cemetery superintendent for Highland Memorial Gardens, Ridgecrest Cemetery and Hollywood Cemetery helping many in their grief. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Marshall Coffman and his sister Janet Fay Coffman. Survivors include his wife Rita, and her two children Amber and John; his mother, Mary Jo Coffman; his brother, Ray Coffman and his wife Martha. SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, October 29, 2015 at Northside United Methodist Church, where he was a member, with Dr. Don Thrasher and Dr. Dennis Renshaw officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the church. The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to Northside United Methodist Church, 2571 N.
