Richard Armstrong Mason, age 62, died on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A native of Jackson, TN, Richard was born on December 14, 1953, the son of the late Richard Williamson and Muriel Nichols Mason. He was a graduate of Northside High School and was a retired foreman with Jackson Energy Authority. He was an avid Alabama Football fan and was a member of the former Oak Grove United Methodist Church. He is survived by his sisters, Teresa Lass of Springboro, OH and Brenda Mason Narvin of Boyinton Beach, FL; a uncle Burrus Nichols of Jackson, TN; three aunts, Remona Beasley of Jackson, TN, Betty Blythe of Mississippi and Mary Dell Roberts of Jackson, TN. SERVICE: A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. A visitation with the family will be held from 11:30 AM until 1:00 PM prior to the service. Memorial are to be directed to the charity of the donors choice.
