Renee Ann Tharp, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, peacefully departed this world on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at her home in Jackson, Tennessee, with her husband and children by her side. Born on April 1, 1946, in Minnesota, Renee led a life marked by dedication, love, and compassion.
Renee enjoyed a fulfilling career, retiring as the Manager of housekeeping at the Regency Nursing Facility in South Bend, Indiana. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family. For sixty years, she shared a deep bond with her husband, Edsil Tharp, who stood by her side through all of life's ups and downs. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Ed Tharp and Kori Donovan, who cherished the values instilled in them by a loving mother.
Renee's siblings also held a significant place in her heart. She is survived by her brother Lynn Swenson (Pam), her sisters Molly Lancaster (Robin) and Lori Flannagan (Andy), along with her sister-in-law Carmen Dameworth and brother-in-law John Tharp (Phyllis). The love and support within her family were evident throughout her life.
Renee's parents, Lyle and Rose Fiddler Swenson, as well as her brother Greg Swenson, brother-in-law David Tharp (Jeanie) predeceased her. Their memories remain a cherished part of her legacy.
