Rebecca M. Spicer passed away peacefully at her home in Jackson, Tennessee, on July 13, 2026, with her son, Keith, by her side. Born on February 27, 1942, in Trenton, Tennessee, Rebecca’s life was marked by a steadfast devotion to her family, an enduring passion for discovery, and a warmth that touched all who knew her.
A proud graduate of North Side High School, Rebecca cherished her education and the friendships she made there. Her career took her to Bone & Joint in Jackson, where she spent 12 years dedicating herself to customer service. Colleagues remember her caring nature and her commitment to making everyone she encountered feel welcome and valued.
Rebecca found joy in both quiet moments and grand adventures. She had a love for travel—Hawaii held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in the memories she created there. At home, cross stitching was one of her favorite pastimes, and she enjoyed relaxing with episodes of the original The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune, shows that brought her both comfort and joy.
In her younger years, Rebecca was known for her athletic spirit, often taking to the field to play women’s softball, a reflection of her energy and team spirit. Above all, she will be remembered as loving and caring, truly devoted to her family. Her greatest source of pride was her grandkids, whom she cherished deeply. Her love and support were unwavering and her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Keith Alan Spicer, William Robert "Rob" Spicer II (Bonnie), and Brittany Morgan Spicer (Taylor); grandchildren, Hannah Marie Spicer, William Benjamin Spicer, and Walter Jared Hills, V; and great-grandchild, Kameron Rashun Gilbert, and her feline companion Skittles Spicer. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Edward Graves and Mildred Douglas Harper; and brothers, William Thomas Graves (Doris Jean), Billy Wayne Graves (Maxine), Clarence "Sonny" Graves (Jane), and Larry Edward Graves (Marlon).
A funeral to celebrate Rebecca will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2026, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the service time.
