Ralph Lawrence passed away peacefully at his residence in, Jackson on November 1, 2024, at the age of 68. He was born on January 2, 1956, at the former Webb-Williamson Hospital of Jackson. He was the son of the late Robert and Mildred Presley Lawrence. Ralph was a dedicated man and an industrious worker. He spent many years as a construction worker and truck driver with the Cumberland City Power Plant, where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to excellence. Ralph was deeply proud of his Tennessee roots and held a special place in his heart for the University of Tennessee, where he was an avid supporter of the Tennessee Vols. His passion for sports extended beyond the college realm; he found great joy in following NASCAR, immersing himself in the excitement of the races. Ralph is survived by his brother, Robert T. 'Pete' Lawrence of Jackson, TN; his daughter, Sandra Lawrence and his cherished grandchild, Alexis Stensell. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Casey Lawrence. The community is invited to pay their respects during visitation at Arrington Funeral Directors on Monday, November 4, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m. and continuing until 1:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Ralph Lawrence will be remembered for his warmth, dedication, and love for his family and friends. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
