Rachael Ann Gregory Cupples, 59, died on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital after a lengthy battle with Cancer. Arrington Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements. A native of Madison County, TN, she was born on April 5, 1953, the daughter of the late William Alfred and Betty Ruth Vinson Gregory. She was married to the late Burtis W. Cupples who preceded her in death in 2006. Being with and caring for her family brought her great joy. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ruth Hollis and husband Toby of Tupelo, MS; her son, Leon Cupples and wife Wendy of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Shirley Whitmore of Martin, TN and Dorothy Ferguson of Gadsden, TN; two brothers, Billy Gregory of St. Louis, MO and Stephen Gregory of Three Way, TN; three grandchildren, Avery Cupples, Jacob Hollis and Lana Hollis and a special niece, Angela Glisson and great niece Gabby. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Katlyn Paige Hollis and a sister, Betty Plunk. It was the wishes of Mrs. Cupples that she be cremated with no public service.
