R. Glenn Tignor, age 80, died on Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. A native of Chester County, TN he was born on June 6, 1935, the son of the late Robert Lee and Nell Bingham Tignor. He was a member of Liberty Grove Baptist Church and a retired supervisor with Conalco of Jackson. In his younger years he enjoyed quail hunting, gardening and watching NASCAR. Glenn is survived by his wife Cornelia Hale Tignor of Jackson, TN; a son, Danny Tignor (Nancy) of Destin, FL; a sister, Frances Boren of Jackson, TN; two grandchildren, Kyle and Kevin Tignor and two great grandchildren, Cole and Addison Tignor. He was preceded in death by a son Anthony Lynn Tignor. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM today in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Larry Kirk and Rev. Tim Bass officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Gardens. The family will be receiving friends today from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service. Pallbearers will be Kyle Tignor, Kevin Tignor, Larry Fesmire, Joe Casey, Bob Brown and Jerry Laster.
