Peggy Jane Burkett, age 68, went to her heavenly home April 3, 2021. She was born on December 29, 1953 to Acie Monroe and Ruby Nell Chandler Burkett. She graduated from Peabody High School and Union University with a degree in nursing. She dedicated her entire life to nursing and adored all her co-workers. She loved her Savior and Englewood Baptist Church. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dicky Burkett. She leaves to cherish her memory, sister Deloria and husband Bill Haynes of Jackson, TN; nephews Billy (Christian) Haynes and Brad (Sally) Haynes; great-nephew Matthew; great nieces Mary, Micah, Millie Grace and Tybi; and great great nephew Teddy. SERVICES: A graveside service will be Tuesday April 6, 2021 at 3PM in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Highway 104, Trenton, TN. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
