Paulette Leach, who was born on August 27, 1946, in Birmingham, Alabama, and passed away on April 27, 2026, in Jackson, Tennessee.
She lived a life marked by simple pleasures, steady kindness, and a genuine appreciation for the treasures found in everyday moments. Paulette carried herself with a gracious spirit and a welcoming presence that made others feel at ease. She had a way of making ordinary days feel a little brighter, and she found happiness in the things she loved most.
Among her favorite pastimes was thrift shopping, and she especially enjoyed spending time in thrift stores, where she delighted in discovering unique items and unexpected finds. She also loved collecting things, and her collections reflected her eye for charm, memory, and meaning.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Brenda Thornton; and nieces and nephews, Michael Darby, Charles Anthony Darby, Tammy Walker, Jonathan R. Darby, and Melinda Jill Thornton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Leach; and her parents, Albert and Elaine Tucker.
