Pam's kind and caring nature touched the lives of all who knew her. She was born on March 17, 1958, in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of the late Billy and Mary Katherine Simpson.

Growing up in Davison, MI, Pam, and her twin sister were deeply involved in their church community. They actively participated in youth groups, with Pam taking on leadership roles in organizing retreats and fundraisers. Pam pursued higher education and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University. Her dedication to learning reflected her commitment to personal growth and excellence in all aspects of her life.

Locally she was a member of West Jackson Baptist Church, where she was active in her Sunday school class as well as giving support to the special needs department. She was very involved with the Republican Party, hosting numerous events at her home.

Pam's love for farm life was evident as she enjoyed caring for her horses and dogs. She often found peace sitting on her patio, overlooking the beautiful expanse of her farm.

In her family life, Pam was a beloved wife to the late Dr. William Permenter and a cherished mother to the late William D. "Will" Permenter III.  Her late parents, Billy and Mary Katherine Simpson also held a special place in her heart.

Ross and husband Michael of Tomball, TX; sister-in-law, Stephanie Pfalzgrat of Buffalo, NY and brother-in-law Doug Permenter of Pensacola, FL.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Pamela will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2024, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Ron Hale officiating.
