Margaret Presson, age 81, died on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at Forest Cove Nursing Center in Jackson. A native of Bolivar, TN, Margaret was born on January 17, 1937, the daughter of the late Samuel Thomas and Mattie Allen Hannis. A homemaker, she was a member of Lighthouse Church, where she enjoyed working in the nursery. She also enjoyed flowers and spending time with her family especially her son Thomas Lynn Presson who preceded her in 2010. She is survived by her husband, Bobby Eugene Presson of Jackson, TN; a brother, William Thomas Hannis and wife Carolyn of Bolivar and a sister, Mattie Elizabeth "Libby" Gordon and husband Ronnie of Florida. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, December 15, 2018 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Pastor Donald Lance officiating. Entombment will follow in the Highland Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM prior to the service at Arrington Funeral Directors.
