Nancy Powell Grider

Nancy Powell Grider, age 86, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at her residence at the Regency of Jackson in Jackson, Tennessee. She was born on February 2, 1940, in Henning, Tennessee.

She is survived by her loving husband, John Grider, who stood by her side throughout their years together. She also leaves behind her devoted son, Paul Grider, and his wife, Tammy, who provided her with immense joy and support. Nancy was blessed with four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, each a testament to the enduring legacy of her love and nurturing spirit.

A graveside service honoring Nancy's memory will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The service will take place at Memphis Memory Gardens, located at 6444 Raleigh Lagrange in Memphis, Tennessee, 38134.
