She was born September 24, 1916 in Medina, TN the daughter of Archie and Annie Lou Dunavan. She is survived by two sons James E. Welch and wife Shirley of Humboldt, TN, Archie Merrill Welch of Medina, TN, one sister Sue Barber of Jackson, TN, four grandchildren, Chad Welch, Michael Welch, Janet Welch, Alan Welch; five Great Grandchildren and two nieces, Judy Jowers and Suzanne Jones.
