Mildred Adriann Hillman

Mildred Adriann Hillman, Millie, of Jackson, TN, age 83 passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, peacefully at her home.  Millie was born on September 10, 1942, to Adrain and Mildred Brinks in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Millie married Douglas Hillman on April 18, 1964.  She and Doug had a wonderful 62 years of raising children, traveling, and spending time at their winter house in Florida.  After several moves, they settled in Tennessee in 1987.  Millie enjoyed reading, knitting and cooking delicious meals.

Millie was preceded in death by her parents Adrian Brinks and Mildred Brinks (Nee) Neuman, and one brother Adrain Brinks, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, Doug; four children, sons David, Jim (Neeta), Jason (Alison), and daughter, Linda (Thomas) Turner; four grandchildren, Jared (Heather) Hunter, Christian Hunter, Shiloh Hillman and Jase Hillman; one great-grandchild, Londyn Hunter.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, 2026, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 637 Wallace Road, Jackson, TN, with Pastor Eric Rudsenske officiating.  A time with family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 am before the service.  Burial will follow at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Parkers Crossroads, at 1:30 p.m.
