Funeral services for Mildred Donnell Griffin, 85, will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, December 9, 2011 at St. Luke?s Episcopal Church with Rev. Sean Farrell officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.Mrs. Griffin died Monday December 5, 2011 at Regional Hospital of Jackson. She was born April 24, 1926 in Jackson, TN, the daughter of the late Harold and Vaden Griggs Donnell. She was married to Ewing Griffin, Jr., who preceded her in death. Mildred was a graduate Mississippi State College for Women and was very active in St. Luke?s Episcopal Church before moving to Tucson, AZ with her family. She was then active in St. Phillips in the Hills Episcopal Church and a past president of the E.C.W. She also served as president of her garden club for many years.She is survived by her daughters Gwen Griffin and Suzanne Griffin; four grandchildren, William Scott and wife Alison, Charles Scott, Angela Litch and husband Rondo and Anthony Boyd; three great grandchildren, Abigail, Turner and Dylan.Arrington Funeral Directors148 W.
