Melissa Ann Cox Lindsay of Memphis, TN died unexpectedly Friday, September 24, 2021. She was born in Memphis, TN on December 14, 1959 to Winnie Rials and Jere L. Cox. Melissa graduated from Briarcrest High School and attended Ole Miss. Professionally, she worked and excelled in the hotel and property management business for many years. Melissa is survived by her Husband, Phil Lindsay and their beloved Chocolate Lab, Waly; mother, Mrs. Winnie Rials; brothers, Jere Cox (Joanna) and Jim Cox; granddaughter Lia Schaeffler; aunt and uncle, Ray and Ann Keckler. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ashley Elizabeth Leem; and father, Jere L. Cox. A private family service will be held in Jackson, TN.
