Maxine Porter Pusser entered her heavenly home on Friday, September 9, 2022, at Northbrooke Healthcare of Jackson, at the age of 91. A native of Red Bay, AL, she was born on February 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Lonnie and Dora White Porter. Maxine had a varied career working as a waitress and later at Rockwell International, retiring to become a homemaker. She was Pentecostal in faith and a former member of Faith Tabernacle Church on East Chester Street in Jackson. Maxine is survived by three daughters, Barbara Pusser of Jackson, TN, Marilyn Mullikin of Lavinia, TN, and Deloris Hamilton of Jackson, TN; son, Danny Pusser of Jackson, TN; brother; Arlis Porter; sister, Magdeline Porter; twelve grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. SERVICES: A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Highland Memorial Gardens.
