Mary Gene Pearson, 90, daughter of the late Annie Elizabeth Coleraine and Louis Marie Coleraine, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 29, 2022. Mrs. Pearson was the beloved wife of the late Robert Dudley "Buddy" Pearson and the mother of nine children: Ann Marie Wranovix (Frank), Barbara Bowen, Cathy Carroll (Mark), Donna Stevens (Bill), Bob Pearson (Marilyn), Beth Tatman (Woody), Lowry Pearson (Bonita), Laura Pearson (Eric), and John Pearson (Susan). She is also survived by nineteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews. Mrs. Pearson was a life-long member of St. Marys Church, a graduate of St. Marys School, Jackson High School, and West Tennessee Business College. After raising her nine children, she enjoyed her work at North Side High School. The family wishes to express its gratitude to Dr. Arthur Grimball and Dr. Antwan Robinson for giving us eight additional years with our mother. We would also like to thank her caregivers Janice, Shirley, Charlene, Valerie, and Gloria for their loving care during our mothers final months. We are grateful to Hospice of West Tennessee, especially Lisa and Melanie, for their compassionate assistance. SERVICES: The family will receive friends at Arrington Funeral Directors, 148 W. University Parkway, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Monday, April 4, followed by the Rosary at 7:00 PM. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Marys Church, 1665 Hwy. 45 By-Pass, at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 5. Burial will take place at Browns Cemetery.
