Lula Mae Hearn Kirkpatrick of Jackson passed away peacefully on May 18, 2011 at the age of 91.Mrs. Kirkpatrick retired with the Jackson Madison County General Hospital in 1985. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Jackson. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.She is preceded in death by her husband, James Murphy Kirkpatrick; daughter, Shirley Marie Collins; her parents, Joseph Oliver and Nina Hearn; six brothers, Dennis Wise, Pete, Bill, Gene, Harry Lee and Fay Hearn.She is survived by two children, Juanita Little and James Murphy ?Jimmy? Kirkpatrick; six grandchildren, Mark A. Holmes (Bonnie), Keith Holmes (Terri), Stephanie Freeman (Johnny), Shelly Kirkpatrick, Tara Kirkpatrick, Anna Page (Jason) and six great grandchildren.A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Hollywood Cemetery.The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the American Red Cross, 212 N.
