Lucille WebbFuneral services for Edna Lucille Webb, 90, will be held Thursday, April 29, 2010 at 10:00AM in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Rev. Lonnie Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery.Mrs. Webb died early Monday morning, April 26, 2010 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.She was born June 25, 1919 in Drew, MS, the daughter of Hubert J. Fondren and Velma Sealy Fondren. Lucille spent many years devoted to West Jackson Baptist Church, active in the Women?s Missionary Union, Sunday School, Training Union, Vacation Bible School, Golden Agers and retired from the Child Care Department. She was also active in state WMU in Arkansas and Tennessee and served as Youth Director of Mississippi County, AR Baptist Association. She is survived by three daughters Patricia Anne Webb, of Jackson, TN, June Williamson, of Pontotoc, MS, Mary Beth Hopper (Mike) of Jackson, TN, three sisters, Bernice Duncan of Blytheville, AR, Wilma Gastineau (Bill), of Florissant, MO, Berna Daugherty of Portageville, MO, sister-in-law Corine Fondren of Blytheville, AR, brother-in-law Eugene Webb of Springdale, AR, three grandchildren, Holly Cannon (Neal), Brian Williamson (Jennifer), Dustin Hopper, six great grandchildren Jace Martin, Kindsey Rose Cannon, Ava Grace Williamson, Emily Claire Williamson, Tate Cannon and Tyler Cannon. Lucille was preceded in death by her husband Clyde Webb in 1997.Those serving as pallbearers will be Carroll Griffin, Mike Pyron, Stanley Smith, Brian Williamson, Mike Hopper and Neal Cannon. Those serving as Honorary Pallbearers will be Bob Blackmon, Homer Cagle, Harvey Lee Curlin, Lenny Ellis, Billy Futrell, Paul Garner, Kenneth Leathers, Theo Leathers, Ray Smith, Bill Taylor and Pete Wilson.The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to the Music Department or the Library at West Jackson Baptist Church, 580 Oil Well Rd., Jackson, TN 38305.The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, April 28, 2010 from 4:00PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home.Arrington Funeral Directors148 W.
