Lucille Poague, 82, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Northbrooke Healthcare. She was born May 26, 1931 in Memphis, TN the daughter of the late Arthur and Ethel Poe. Mrs. Poague was an elementary school teacher for 42 years, spending the later part of her career teaching in Jackson. She was a longtime member of North Jackson Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Glenn Poague; a son, George Poague of Murfreesboro, TN; two daughters, Jane Byron of Murfreesboro, TN and Ellen Poague of Jackson, TN; a sister, Audrey Borden of Hohenwald, TN and four grandchildren. Memorials may be directed to: Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Ave., 7th fl., New York, NY 10001. SERVICES: Funeral services for Mrs. Poague will be held 12:00 P.M.
