Louise Hurt, age 91, received her heavenly reward on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at her daughters residence. She was born in Mercer, TN on January 12, 1931, the daughter of the late Nathan N. and Lucy Jane McCarver Tims. She was married to Odell Hurt, Sr., who preceded her in death. As a homemaker, Louise enjoyed reading, embroidery, and bird watching. Her life and passion was her family and caring for her children and grandchildren meant the world to her. For many years she and her late husband attended and were active in Bible Grove Baptist Church. Louise is survived by her daughters, Donna Goodwin and husband Eddie, Lisa Grace and husband Bo, and Martha Lancaster and husband Dwayne; a son, Franklin Hurt, Jr. and wife Lisa, twelve grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Tims. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Bo Grace officiating. Burial will follow in Hollywood Cemetery.
