Lora Hahn

Lora Hahn passed away on May 14, 2025, in Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 55. She faced her battle with remarkable courage and was always surrounded by the love of her children and husband. Born on October 12, 1969, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Lora embraced life with an infectious warmth and a passionate love for her family that radiated to all who knew her.

Lora's career was marked by compassion and commitment. When she still worked, she served as the director of nursing at Northbrooke Nursing Home, where her unwavering dedication to those in her care made a lasting impact. Her background in social work and volunteer efforts with CASA exemplified her deep-seated desire to help those in need, further showcasing her nurturing spirit.

She pursued her education vigorously, earning a bachelor's degree in science and criminology while attending both Jackson State and the University of Tennessee at Martin. Lora's thirst for knowledge mirrored her curiosity about life, and she approached every challenge with grace and determination.

Above all, Lora cherished her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose greatest accomplishment was the love and bond she fostered among her loved ones. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and she found pure happiness in spending quality time with them, creating cherished memories that will forever be held in their hearts.

Lora's vibrant personality shone brightly, especially during those long, warm summer days that she adored. Gardening was her haven, and her passion for flowers and animals brought color and life into her home. Lora’s garden bloomed not just with flora but with love, reflecting her nurturing spirit.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Pete Hahn; adored children, Bradley Michael Hahn, Ryan Michael Hahn, and Megan Brittany Hahn; mother, Diana Asbridge McHugh; siblings, Kristopher Lee McHugh and Dawn Marie McHugh; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Larry McHugh.

The legacy of Lora Hahn will forever remain alive in the hearts of her family, reminding them of the strength, love, and beauty she brought into their lives. Her memory will continue to bloom in the gardens of their minds, just as she tended to her beloved flowers. Lora was truly a light in this world, and her spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
