LoAnna Sue Chance, age 78, passed away peacefully in her sleep Thursday, April 6, 2023 at AHC Humboldt Healthcare and Rehab in Humboldt, TN. LoAnna was born April 24, 1944 in Houston, TX to the late Welch and Roberta (Hauk) Wilhite. She attended the University of Houston earning her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in French and Masters in Counseling. She taught French and English for over three decades at MacArthur Senior High School in Aldine ISD in Houston. LoAnna was a member of the Campbell Street Church of Christ in Jackson, TN, and former member of Aldine and Second Christian Churches in Houston, TX. LoAnna is survived by her son, Nathan Chance and wife Dr. Janna Chance, and her grandchildren, Caleb and Adam Chance of Jackson, TN.
