Lillie M. GibbonsGraveside services for Lillie M. Gibbons, 87, will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Hollywood Cemetery, with Rev. Bruce Pigue officiating. Mrs. Gibbons died on Monday, October 5, 2009 at her residence. Arrington Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.She was born on December 3, 1921, the daughter of the late I.D. and Rosie Rushing Beasenburg. She was married to Roy Melvin Gibbons who preceded her in death in 1956. Mrs. Gibbons was retired from the Jackson General Hospital as an Admitting Clerk and was a member of Westover Baptist Church.She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis McKinney and husband Jerry of Jackson, TN; a granddaughter, Tam McFarland and husband Brandon and three great grandchildren, Jeremy, Brandi and Justin McFarland.Pallbearers to serve will be Ron Haney, Tom Haney, Rob Beasenburg and Justin McFarland.The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Hospice of West Tennessee and the group of individuals that assisted them during this time.The family has requested that memorial contributions be directed to Hospice of West Tennessee, 1804 Highway 45 By-Pass, Jackson, TN 38305.The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, October 6, 2009 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Arrington Funeral Directors.Arrington Funeral Directors148 W.
