Levy Thomas Crowder

Our world became brighter at 1:13 PM on June 28, 2026, when we welcomed our little boy, Levy Thomas Crowder.

Born at just 26 weeks and 3 days, Levy spent one glorious month showing us a love deeper than we ever knew was possible.

On July 28, 2026, surrounded by our love, he peacefully entered the arms of his Heavenly Father.

Levy had been prayed for long before he was born. Throughout our pregnancy, we were told more than once that he likely would not survive. Yet time after time, God faithfully sustained him. He guided our doctors, strengthened his tiny body, surrounded us with compassionate nurses, respiratory therapists, physicians, and caregivers, and carried us through every uncertain moment. Every day with Levy was a gift, and every person who prayed for him or cared for him became part of his story.

While God did not answer our prayers in the way we had hoped, He answered them perfectly. Our son is completely healed. He is no longer fighting. He is no longer suffering. He is whole, and he is home with Jesus.

Though our hearts are broken, we do not grieve without hope. Levy’s life reminds us that God is never absent in our suffering. He draws near to His children, carries them through the darkest valleys, and promises an eternity with Him.

The days ahead will be difficult, but because of Christ, we know this is not goodbye. One day, our sweet boy will run into our arms, and we will never be separated again.

Thank you to every family member, friend, church family member, stranger and member of Levy’s medical team who prayed, loved, and walked this journey with us. You gave our son—and us—more than words can ever express.

Levy is survived by his parents, Kurtis and Maggie Crowder, his grandparents, Joey and Beth Jenkins, Clinton Jr. and Tiffany Crowder, Tony and Sarah Hooper. His Great grandparents, Joseph and Jeanne Jenkins, Christopher Lupton, Sharon Boyer, and Kathy Crowder. Uncles and Aunts, Christopher (Brooklyn) Jenkins, Heather (Jason) Scroggs, Kimberly (Jon) Sparks, Kayla (Bryan) Moyer, Kristina (Justin) Huggins and countless cousins and great Aunts and Uncles. He is preceded in death by his Grandmother Lori Crowder, Great-Grandparents Tempie Lupton, Ginny Register Lupton, Clinton Sr. & Helen Crowder, and Leroy Boyer.

Come Lord Jesus, Quickly. Amen.

SERVICE: Friends and family are invited to gather on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Cornerstone Community Church from 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m., followed by Levy’s memorial service beginning at 3:30 p.m.

The family encourages those attending to wear green or blue to celebrate Levy's life.
