Larry D. Garner, 74, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2016 at Jackson Madison Co. General Hospital. He was born November 11, 1941 in Dyersburg, TN the son of the late Thomas Durrell Garner and Mai Helen Rose Garner. Larry was retired from the U.S. Air Force and a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was a dedicated member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his daughters, Tammy Walker (Randy) of Humboldt, TN and Annette Bauer (Mark Chartrand) of Humboldt, TN; two brothers, Perry Garner of Trenton, TN and Dennis Garner (Carla) of Jackson, TN; eight grandchildren, Joshua Adkins, Paul Adkins, Justin Anthony, Jessica Anthony, Cannon Bauer, Cassie Mullins (John), Mark Chartrand Jr. (Lauren) and Jay Chartrand (Holly) and nine great grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Garner. SERVICES: Graveside services for Mr. Garner will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, March 10, 2016 at Highland Memorial Gardens with Tommy Hardin officiating.
