Kathryn (Kathy) Carr Clenney, of Jackson, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday morning, October 24. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, R.L. and Julia Carr. She was born on November 15, 1947, in Memphis, TN. She was married to Travis Clenney, who survives. Kathy loved and was loved by all who were blessed to know her. She especially loved her family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Judith Ann Cartwright and husband, Rickey, of Shelbyville, KY, and her son Andy Clenney and wife, Brenda, of Jackson; grandchildren Tanner (Laura) Cartwright and Tyler (Cecelia) Cartwright of Shelbyville, KY, Taylor Cartwright and Travis (Hannah) Cartwright of Jackson, Rachael and Austin Clenney of Jackson, and Trace and Tice Cartwright of Shelbyville, KY; great-grandchildren Ilia, Maranatha, Tansy, and Amaris Cartwright of Shelbyville, KY; two sisters, Judy Rose and Nancy (Terry) Dyer of Jackson; two half-sisters, Joy Moss of Brownsville, TN, and Linda Czigan of Jacksonville, FL; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 25, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m., and on Thursday, October 26, from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Woodland Baptist Church. Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 26, at 11:00 a.m., at Woodland Baptist Church, with Rev. Wayne Foropoulos, Rev. Charles Pratt, and Rev. Patrick Beard officiating. Burial will be at Brownsville Memorial Gardens, Brownsville, TN.
