Josephine S. Connolly, age 96, died on Thursday, October 29, 2020 at the Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was born on November 18, 1924, in Indianola, MS, the daughter of the late Eugene and Maria Romognoli Servadio. She was a retired Registered Nurse. She was married to John Thomas Connolly, who preceded her in death in 1997. Josephine is survived by her son, Thomas Joseph Connolly of Colorado Springs, CO; daughters, Marie Mayfield of Jackson, TN, Keiren Alzarez and husband Mark of Spring Branch, TX, Elizabeth Newman and husband Ken of Carlsbad, CA and Kathleen Eskew and husband Victor of Jacksonville, FL; her sister Fannie Massa of Winthrop, MA; twenty-one grandchildren and nineteen great-great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Charles Mayfield, Michael Eskew, Heath Connolly, Luke Connolly, Victor Eskew and Mark Alzarez, SERVICES: A Mass will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Mary's Catholic Church, with Father David Graham officiating. Burial will follow in the West Tennessee Veteran Cemetery in Germantown, TN Prior to the Mass a Rosary will be said at 10:15 prior to the Mass.
