Joel was best known for his role as a butcher at the local Food Bank, where he worked with dedication and compassion to support those in need. This work reflected his generous nature and commitment to his community. Beyond his professional life, Joel’s passions were varied and vibrant. He loved to read during his earlier years before the loss of his sight, finding joy and escape in the written word. His enthusiasm for motorcycles and nice cars was well known among friends and family, and his known charm and charisma earned him a reputation as a true ladies’ man. He was also an avid pool player, enjoying the game as both a competitive challenge and a social pastime.
Joel’s personality shone brightest in his relationships. To his daughter, he was not only a father but also her best friend and confidant—a steadfast presence she could always count on.
