James (Jim) Donald Feirick, 69, died at his residence on Monday, August 5, 2013 after a lengthy illness surrounded by his family. Jim was born in St. Joseph, County, IN on November 11, 1943, the son of the late Stanford D. and Jeanette Hartline Carpenter. He retired from Allied Signal formerly Bendix as plant manager. He was a member of the Magic Valley Air Force. His family was his life and he took no greater joy than spending time with them and sharing in their experiences. He is survived by is wife, Sharon Gearhart Feirick of Humboldt, TN; two daughters, Shawn Towater and husband John of Jackson, TN and Beth Hopper and husband Jeff of Humboldt, TN; three sisters, Donna Kinnard and husband Larry of Cherokee Village, AR, Sharie Hartline and husband Skip of La Porte, IN and Mary McEnaney and husband Ron of Michigan; two brothers, Dan Carpenter and wife Kris of La Porte, IN and Paul Feirick and wife DeAnn of Arizona; seven grandchildren, Alyssa and Seth Hopper, Cody and Ally Weir and Jason, Jenna and Jillian Towater and one great grandchild, Greyson. SERVICES: A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 8, 2013 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Mr. Danny Underwood officiating.
