Jerry Faine Brewer

Jerry Brewer, 81, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2013, in Columbia, TN. He was born June 22, 1932 in Sharon, TN, the son of the late Guy and Cora Harrison Brewer. He spent 45 years with Kroger Food Stores. He was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church in Jackson, TN, where he served as an usher and on the Baptismal Committee. Jerry was a very humble, kind, and caring man, full of common sense, who went about his business quietly doing good. He is survived by his wife Joan Brewer, two sons, Monte Brewer and wife Carla of Trenton, TN, Terry Brewer and wife Cecilia of Columbia, TN, one brother Donald Brewer of Sharon, TN, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four sisters. SERVICES: The family will receive friends Tuesday, October 1, 2013, from 12:00 PM until service time at 2:00PM.
