Janice B. Richerson, age 93, died on Sunday, May 8, 2016 at the Humboldt Medical Center. She was born in Madison County, TN on December 16, 1922, the daughter of the late Albert and Esther Hailey Barham. She was married to the late Raymond Richerson, Sr. who preceded her in 1998. She was formerly a member of First Baptist Church of Jackson for forty years and most recently, a member of Englewood Baptist Church of Jackson. She was retired from Jackson Madison County General Hospital as an LPN with over twenty years of employment. She is survived by her son, Raymond Richerson, Jr. (Sheila) of Jackson, TN; her daughters, Linda Culbreath (Laurence) of Marianna, FL, Jewell Burke (John) of Nolensville, TN and Shirley Anthony of Jackson, TN. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Jo Owens in 2015. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, May 12, 2016 in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Dr. John Burke officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.
