Jane Presley Smith entered her heavenly home on Sunday, January 8, 2023 at the age of 83, after a lengthy battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis. Born in Atwood, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Alfred and Hassie Mae Milam Presley. Jane began her career with the Bank of Huntingdon, then with Owens Corning as their payroll administer. Later in her life, she worked for The Jackson Clinic and Maplewood Healthcare. Jane was a member of Englewood Baptist Church, where she was a member of the Harvesters Sunday School Class. She had an eye for decorating and enjoyed keeping up with the latest trends and fashions. She was preceded in death by her siblings, John Wayne Presley, Ocie J. Presley, Pauline DePriest, Carol Bennett, and Ruth N. Byrum. Jane is survived by her husband, James Bryant Smith of Jackson, TN. SERVICES: The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors with Dr. Philip Jett officiating. Burial will follow in Clark Cemetery, Huntingdon, TN, with the committal service at 3:00 p.m. The family will be receiving friends Wednesday, January 11, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
