Jana Lynn Barnes Street

Jana Lynn Barnes Street, born December 27, 1973, in Jackson, Tennessee, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.  She was 52 years old.

Growing up in Jackson, she was cherished by her loving parents, Issac G. Barnes and Jo Brooksie Melton Barnes, both of whom preceded her in death. The values and compassion she inherited from them shaped every stage of her journey.

Jana will be fondly remembered by her family, who were an unwavering source of love and connection throughout her years. She is survived by her devoted brother, Mike Barnes, and his wife, Brenda and her sister, Iris Shackelford, and her husband Larry,
