Helen Ugine Latham Hurst, age 88, died peacefully at AHC Northbrooke Healthcare of Jackson, TN. A native of Chester County, TN, she was born on November 29. 1932, the daughter of the late Burl and Virgie Stewart Latham. Helen was a Licensed Practical Nurse retiring from St. Francis Hospital of Memphis. She was a former member of Campbell Street Church of Christ and currently was a member of North Jackson Church of Christ of Jackson, TN. Helen was survived by her three children, Steve Hurst and wife Terri of Ooltewah, TN, John Hurst and wife Tammy of Jackson and Peggy Hurst Major and husband Jerry of Jackson, TN; eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Lillian Bridges, Maxine Conner and Minnie Arnold and brothers, Maulden Latham, Richard Latham and Boyce Latham. SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, October 30, 2021, in the chapel of Arrington Funeral Directors, with Ray Hawk, minister officiating.
