Helen Smith Hight

Lifelong Jacksonian Helen Smith Hight went to be with the Lord on November 8, 2016 after a brief illness. She is preceded in death by her husband Allen H. Hight, Jr.; parents Carl P. and Frances W. Smith, and her brother Carl V. Smith. She is survived by four children - Carl Andrew "Andy" Hight, Suzy Hight Thompson, Sally Ann Hight, and Hill Smith Hight - and by eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Services will be at Aldersgate United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 12, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the church, the Jackson/Madison County Library, or to an organization that provides books for children, such as The Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
