Obituary

Frances June Donnelly, age 81, passed away on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at Jackson-Madison County Hospital. She was born June 1, 1940 in Adamsville, TN the daughter of the late S. O. (Mac) McLain and Mazie Blanche (Tucker) McLain. She attended schools in Adamsville, Selmer, and at Union University in Jackson, TN. She was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. She is survived by two sons; Michael OConnor (Claudia) of Jackson, TN and Sean OConnor of Paris, TN; six grandchildren; Heather McGehee, Meghan OConnor, Taylor Ross OConnor, Patrick OConnor, Morgan Vanderburg, and Rachel Bentley and 10 great-grandchildren; two brothers; Roger McLain of Adamsville, TN and Kenneth McLain of Selmer, TN; two sisters; Ruby Anderson of Selmer, TN and Wanda Dye of El Cajon, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents, a beloved sister, Frankie Lou Pickard, and four brothers, Bobby McLain, Hardin McLain, Ray McLain, and Carman Dwight (Bull) McLain. Pallbearers to serve are the grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 - Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38148. SERVICES: There will be a graveside service on Friday, June 4, 2021 at 12 P.M. at Ridgecrest Cemetery with her son, Michael OConnor officiating and Military Honors to follow.
